EU's Šefčovič: Convinced that we can find good solution within NI protocol

Maroš Šefčovič, European Commission Vice President of Interinstitutional Relations and Foresight, said on Wednesday that he is absolutely convinced that they can find a good solution within the Northern ıreland Protocol with the UK, per Reuters.

"Our aim is definitely not to renegotiate the protocol," Šefčovič reiterated.

These comments don't seem to be having a noticeable impact on the British pound's performance against its major rivals. As of writing, the GBP/USD pair was trading at 1.3773, where it was down 0.07% on a daily basis.
