Brexit progress, or there lack of: Britain would permanently regret leaving

There have not been market moving headlines from the weekend, but to touch on Brexit, the clock is ticking and all ears are to the ground for glimmers of progress.  Reuters have run a story which cites business minister Greg Clark saying in a newspaper interview on Saturday that Britain would permanently regret leaving the European Union without a deal, and how parliament needs to reach a decision to stop this in the next two weeks.  

May had promised another Brexit vote by Feb. 14, but there is nothing new to vote on, so far. She spoke earlier saying that she is looking for a  "pragmatic solution" to the parliamentary stalemate on Brexit while seeking
renewed negations with the EU. 

With respect to the backstop, in the Telegraph, she said:

"When I return to Brussels I will be battling for Britain and Northern Ireland, I will be armed with a fresh mandate, new ideas and a renewed determination to agree a pragmatic solution that delivers the Brexit the British people voted for."
